Custom Linocut Cards

The art of linocutting begins with a drawing that is transferred to linoleum, rubber, or wood. The negative space of that image is then carved away leaving a relief that can be inked and pressed onto paper or fabric to create a print. Because each printing is slightly different, each product is unique. 

I design and carve my own linocuts to create cards for all occasions. Take a look at my collection. You can order cards from images in my catalog, or you can request a custom image all your own. 

Because linocuts take time to develop, carve, print, and dry, I ask that you and I discuss your order via email. In that way, I am sure to meet whatever deadline for printing you would like and I won't accept commissions for cards I cannot deliver on time. 

Custom Pet Collages

Every pampered pet deserves to have his portrait made. My pet portraits are done using decorative paper and hand-cut collage. I begin with a photo of your pet, create a hard-edge drawing, and then design a colorful caricature that is cut and pieced completely by hand.

Due to the nature of small businesses, I take collage requests via email so that you and I can be assured that I can meet your deadline and that I do not take commissions that I cannot deliver on time.

I like to think of myself as an eclectic artist--I am always experimenting with new mediums and often returning to my tried and true favorites, though most of what I do would be classified as illustration.
